Basic Restoration & Fillings

A basic restoration or “filling” is done to remove a decayed portion of tooth and fill it with either silver amalgam or tooth colored composite resin.

Bridges

Dental bridges, bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.

A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the missing tooth. These two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth. The false tooth in between is called the pontic. This tooth can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth.

Complete Examination

Regular dental exams are an important part of preventive health care.

During a dental exam, the dentist will check for cavities and gum disease. The dentist will also evaluate your risk of developing other oral health problems, as well as check your face, neck and mouth for abnormalities.

Sealants

Dental sealants act as a barrier, protecting enamel from plaque and acids.

Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth, covering the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and/or to improve its appearance.

The crown, when cemented into place, fully encases the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available – complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.

Cleanings

Teeth cleaning (dental prophylaxis) is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontal disease. People routinely clean their own teeth by brushing and flossing, and the dentist or dental hygienist can remove hardened deposits (tartar) not removed by routine cleaning.

Custom Whitening

Teeth whitening can get teeth brighter faster. A bleaching solution is usually much stronger than at-home kits. Also, heat, light, or a combination of the two may be used to speed and intensify the whitening process.
